When I was younger(I can’t believe myself saying that…) and my BW was 82kg my waist size was 83cm
My current BW is close to 82kg(83.5kg last time) but waist size is 87cm.
Is it mean that I was MUCH leaner back days?

Well, your waist size can go up a bit due to muscle gain in the lower back and abs (specially if your obliques have grown), other than that, it’s fat. As long as you measured at the same time of day, same level of food in your stomach, and all that stuff.

How much air do you have in your lunges when you take the measurements? That also makes a difference, I breathe all the way out when I take mine, that way I know that I have very little air in my lunges on all the measurements.
Do you have before and after pics? I don’t know how much muscle gains can add on your waist, but I’m sure it’s a bit.
also, how long between these measurements?

Well, I can be sure only on latest measurements, because the previous was taken about 20 years ago

20 years ago? holy crap.. well a lot can have happened since then. How old were you back then? I wouldn’t stress it that much when it’s been so long, I think a lot of that could be muscle, specially since you weigh the same. Have you been exercising for 20 years?

Almost 20 years.
This specific measurement was taken at 1993
I was 24 years old.
I start to exercise when I was 16 years old, at home with elastic bands and kettlebells.
At 21 start to train for competitions, the photo in the avatar made at Jan 1992
In 1995 I was in my best shape ever, my BW was 89kg, I had 46cm arms and did 190kg bench press.
For protocol I must mention that I used drugs back than.
From 1995 I quit the training almost entirely, and come back training again 3 years ago.
That’s my story

when I train abs i also train my obliques, and my waist size is equal to when I start training…

Well if you got back on 3 years ago, then maybe you gained some fat while you were off.
For how long have you been training, Bandid0? I’m thinking it probably takes a while to get your abs and lower back to grow so much that it effects your waist size. But I don’t know.. it could be that it never really does.
