In my past postings I have established that my main area of interest is the development of skeletal muscle hypertrophy utilizing lower loads. I believe the use of lesser loads is a more sustainable form of resistance training. I also think that the use of vascular occlusion/intramusculature pressure coupled with the lesser load may be a avenue worth pursuing.

I have developed a training protocol, Blood Flow Resistance Training(BFRT) which takes cues from several different research papers. Much of it follows the Kaatsu idea but instead of cuffs etc., other techniques are incorporated to produce a similar occlusion/metabolic effect. Of course I don’t have the resources to do a large study with biopsies and blood samples so the protocol is a beta of a program that I have experimented with on myself.

I am not sure if this site/forum is the right venue to propose the short paper on BFRT? I have referenced some of the source material for the program and would look for feedback. I ask the administrators of this site if this is acceptable?
