There has been concepts that an individual’s BMR can be compared with others of same age to find out the Metabolic age. Is there any accurate method to find out our metabolic age?

I am trying a method of calculating metabolic age but still long way to go.

According to my attempt,

Metabolic age =(Current weight-Acceptable weight for chronological age) / (Chronological age -
                                          Acceptable weight gain per year)

There might be some tables somewhere. I have seen an average RMR used in RMR calculations to show if you have a fast or slow metabolism. I don’t know how they go the normal RMR for particular age groups and sex.

Though I have mentioned the formula for metabolic age straightaway, but it requires 3 to 4 steps to use this formula for every individual. I have taken two major keys to derive this formula (a) body composition (b) the finding that we tend to store 2-3% fat per decade after 20 years of age.

My finding is just in the incipient state and I can’t confirm if I am right or wrong. But according to my finding, if metabolic age equals chronological age, then that itself should be considered excellent.
