My 5/3/1 Training Log

Hey guys, Anoop welcomed me to start a training log here. He said he would make a new section but that I could post here till then. I am super excited about this program and I just tested my 1RMs today for the four main lifts. I am going to be doing the 5/3/1 BBB 3-month Challenge for the first 3 months. I urge anyone who wants to join me to do so. Here is the link to the challenge:

So my 1RMs that everything will be calculated off of for this program are as follows:
Squat: 315
Bench: 230
Deadlift: 385
Press: 145

I will start this challenge Monday 3/28

Well, today was my first day on the BBB program. It went pretty good. I supersetted the accessory lifts. That made them pretty difficult and really got me breathing heavy.
Here is what I did:

squat
185x5
201x5
240x5
140x10x5

Ab wheel
BWx10x5

So it has been awhile but I wanted to let everyone know what has been going on. I am on week 4 of my 5/3/1 cycle so this is the first deload week. I wanted to share some my sets that I am most proud of during the past 3 weeks.

Squat 270x4
Bench 195x8
Deadlift 335x3
Press 125x4

I have also switched from the BBB template/challenge and have started using a Triumvirate accessory template. I just wanted to work my body in some slightly different ways. I have been doing almost nothing except for the four main lifts for months. I felt I needed to work my joints at some different angles.

Good to hear. I thought you got too strong and moved to a powerlifting forum haha

That’s good. Sometimes you get bored of doing the same stuff over and over.
